Drum Clinic
May 12 - May 16
We are so lucky to have Ray Kingsmore Drum Clinic returning to our school from Monday May 12 to Friday May 16. He will be teaching the students about the drums! Students will also have the opportunity to play the drums to contemporary music.
Students will learn about the elements of music as well as the different styles of drums.
All students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 will participate in this activity. Concepts vary according to grade level. Primary students will be exposed to 3 basic Drum Rudiments. Older students will have a much more in-depth experience. All grade level participants will enjoy creating “Free Style” applications of Rudiments while playing their drums to music.
